🥦 March is National Nutrition Month! This year’s theme, “Discover the Power of Nutrition,” highlights how informed food choices and equitable access to nourishment strengthen health and wellbeing across every stage of life.Nutrition is more than what’s on a plate — it is a foundation for health, dignity, and stability. When children, families, and seniors have reliable access to nourishing food, they are better able to learn, work, grow, and age with independence. For nearly 50 years, Community Bridges has strengthened food security across the Central Coast. From delivering thousands of nutritious meals each week through Meals on Wheels for Santa Cruz County, to expanding CalFresh access and providing nutrition education and family support services, our programs ensure neighbors facing economic hardship are not left behind. Yet rising costs and limited access to fresh, nutritious options continue to challenge local households. Together, we can strengthen health, independence, and wellbeing for all.👉 Read more about why nutrition matters and National Nutrition Month:eatright.org/about-national-nutrition-monthFollow along this month to discover how food access supports a healthier, more connected community.-----------------------------SPANISH🥦 ¡Marzo es el Mes Nacional de la Nutrición!
