The 18th Annual WIC Breastfeeding Walk and Health Fair took place at Laurel Park in Santa Cruz on Thursday, August 7, from 1:00pm to 4:00pm.
Attendees enjoyed games, refreshments, raffle prizes, a live DJ, free t-shirts, a donor human milk drive, and a rally style Walk around the park.
The City of Santa Cruz, County of Santa Cruz, and County of San Benito honored breastfeeding with Proclamations of Breastfeeding Awareness Month.
A local employer received a Certificate of Recognition for providing lactation accommodations to their breastfeeding employees.
