We’re proud of our WIC program and its continued work to support breastfeeding families throughout Santa Cruz County💜Thank you to the County of Santa Cruz Board of Supervisors for proclaiming August 2026 as Breastfeeding Awareness Month, and to the Public Health Department of Santa Cruz County for its longstanding partnership with our WIC team.We’re especially proud of WIC Director Dana Wagner and the entire team for their dedication to helping local families thrive.Yesterday, our director was joined by staff from the Public Health Department of Santa Cruz County at the County Board of Supervisors meeting, where the Board proclaimed August 2026 Breastfeeding Awareness Month in Santa Cruz County. Community Bridges was proud to host our WIC program’s 19th Annual Breastfeeding Walk and Health Fair! 💜It was a wonderful day filled with connection, family fun, community resources, and support. Families enjoyed raffle prizes, arts & crafts, our smoothie bike, and the opportunity to connect with local organizations offering valuable resources and services.Thank you to our Community Bridges WIC Program team, community partners, families, and everyone who helped make this special event such a success.
