The 12th Annual Food from the Heart Luncheon

A Valentine-themed luncheon celebrating Meals on Wheels

Join us for the Food From the Heart Luncheon & Valentine’s Day Extravaganza!

This popular annual gathering offers a festive Valentine-themed luncheon featuring romantic auction items, exciting raffle prizes, and Sweetheart Award ceremony celebrating essential nutrition services for Santa Cruz County seniors.

The Food from the Heart luncheon is the only fundraiser event preventing hunger and isolation in local older adults through healthy meals and friendly human contact through Meals on Wheels home-delivered meals and dining sites.

🌟 Community Bridges is excited to announce that our Community Bridges WIC Program has been selected to participate in Santa Cruz Gives! 🎉Our Big Idea for 2024 is to provide critical support to local women, infants, and children through WIC’s Diaper Initiative Program. 🌈Since 1977, Community Bridges’ WIC program has been serving families throughout Santa Cruz County and the Pajaro Valley, providing essential resources for mothers and children in need. In recent years, the rising cost of diapers has become a significant barrier for families, with prices increasing by 22% since 2018. To help ease this burden, we launched the WIC Diaper Program in 2023, distributing over 852 diaper packs in just nine months. Despite this progress, demand continues to outpace supply.Your donation can make a meaningful difference. By contributing today, you’ll help us expand this critical program, ensuring no family has to choose between diapers and other basic needs.
