Bequest Statement

Planned Giving Language

Through a charitable bequest in your will or living trust, you can ensure that Community Bridges will be there for future generations of children, families and seniors in need.

All that is needed is a short statement in your will or trust.

“I give, devise and bequeath to Community Bridges, tax ID# 94-2460211, located at 519 Main Street, Watsonville, CA 95076, [the sum of $_______, or state a percentage of your residuary estate, or designate real and personal property, including exact location] for the benefit of its general purposes [or specify the Community Bridges program you wish to support.]”

This is merely a suggested wording; please consult your attorney or an estate planning professional when preparing legal documents.

Happy Older Americans Month! Let’s celebrate the older adults in our lives that we love and care about, and remember all they have contributed throughout their years. This year, the Administration for Community living chose to highlight the “Power of Connection,” and its important role in the everyday life of older americans. Seniors who face social isolation have an increased chance of developing mental and physical health issues, exacerbated poverty for those unable to work, and increased food insecurity. Through programs like Elderday, Lift Line, and Meals on Wheels for Santa Cruz County, we work hard to break the barriers of social isolation, and food insecurity by providing them they services they need to thrive in their community.#OlderAmericansMonth #Elderday #MealsOnWheelsSC #LiftLine #Elders #CommunityBridges ...
